Acti-Tech Ltd has been chosen by Nigeria's Federal Inland Revenue Service to deploy a state-of-the-art IP video surveillance system for its headquarters building in the capital city, Abuja.

The Federal Inland Revenue Service, Nigeria's tax agency, under its current management has tripled revenues to the government in the last few years and has been at the forefront of implementing innovative policies and technology. It has always prides itself on obtaining value for money through timely procurement anchored on quality and cost.

Acti-Tech will be deploying top-of-the-range IP cameras and the renowned VideoEdge Network Video Recorders and Victor Video Management System from American Dynamics, a subsidiary of Tyco Security Products. Also included are a robust network infrastructure for the system and power backup.

''The use of the American Dynamics system is a top choice for the Federal Inland Revenue Service, considering the strategic position of the organization and its importance to the Nigeria national economy. I congratulate the FIRS for making this worthwhile investment and going for a future-proof solution, said Mr. Nosa Odiase, Sales & Marketing Manager for Acti-Tech Ltd,''.

The FIRS surveillance project will also entail the setup of a command and control centre with standard monitoring system, ergonomic workstation and other control room furnishing.
